Implementation of VERNet Member Web Portal

In mid 2010 VERNet built and released a web portal for its members. The portal is a one stop location providing members;
- access to documentation relating to their services,
- with an opportunity to share knowledge,
- with a method by which VERNet can access information required to support the network.
The portal is available to all members who have confirmed the Service Level Agreement document, as the principles behind this document are a key part of the portal’s information.
The portal replaces older systems of cataloguing data and in some cases it provides a method of collecting new data from members to aid in delivery of service.
The web portal is provided by the VERNet Service Delivery team and is available 24 hours a day
